Emergency Eye Exams

Eye Exams - Seniors (Ages 65+)

The importance of routine eye care increases as we age.  The prevalence of eye disease increase as we enter into our 60's and 70's, with eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration becoming more common.  As with most eye diseases, early detection is the key to trying to prevent or delay devastating vision loss.

At Kingsway Optometry, it is our policy that all seniors receive a regular eye health examination plus a routine dilated retinal examination on an annual basis. If for any reason you require further eye care treatment or care by an ophthalmologist, our office will take care of the arrangements. We also provide complete post-operative eye care for surgery's such as cataracts.

  • If you have already received an eye health examination within the July 1-June 30 billing cycle, you may not be covered for your examination, and you will be responsible for payment. The fee for each additional visit is $90.00.
